Job Summary:
Performs complex finance and accounting functions for markets and system applying Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).
Ensures accurate, consistent and timely preparation of all month-end close related duties including journal entries, variance/trend analysis and communication to small markets and systems.
Performs/provides balance sheet account reconciliations, audit support, tax filings/other governmental required reporting and other duties as assigned.
Job Requirements:
Education and Work Experience:
Associate's/Technical Degree in accounting or finance or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Required
Bachelor's Degree in accounting or finance or equivalent combination of education/related experience: Preferred
Five years' technical experience: Preferred
Essential Functions:
Records general ledger journal entries and performs variance analysis.
Reconciles general ledger balance sheet accounts according to assigned timing.
Performs sales tax, income tax and other governmental tax filings.
Communicates financial results and outcome of variances/analytics/reconciliations to markets.
Performs audit, analysis and other duties as assigned.
Performs other job-related duties as assigned.
