Bookkeeper

Job: Bookkeeper Location: Sacramento, CA Job type: Full-time M-F 8am-5pm, in person Pay rate: $26 Responsible for accurately recording and maintaining financial transactions.
Key Duties: Enter financial transactions into accounting software: Quickbooks desktop mandatory experience, Sage100 experience a plus.
Record income, expenses, and other financial activities.
Manage accounts payable by processing vendor invoices and ensuring timely payments.
Handle accounts receivable by invoicing customers and tracking payments.
Reconcile bank statements with the company's financial records to ensure accuracy.
Generate financial reports, such as income statements and balance sheets.
Provide financial information to management for decision-making.
Month end closing Stay informed about relevant accounting regulations.
Ensure compliance with tax laws and reporting requirements.
Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records.
File and store financial documents securely.
Qualifications: A degree in accounting, finance, or a related field is often preferred.
Previous experience in bookkeeping or a related role, 3 years minimum.
Familiarity with accounting software and financial systems.
Strong attention to detail.
Ability to organize and manage financial information efficiently.
Effective communication skills dealing with colleagues, clients and vendors Basic analytical skills to interpret financial data and trends.
Maintain a high level of integrity and confidentiality when handling financial information.
