The State Water Resources Control Board’s, Division of Administration Services has an opening for an Associate Accounting Analyst in the Accounting Branch.
The position is located at 1001 I Street, 18th Floor, Sacramento, CA 95814, right in the heart of downtown next to light rail stations and other public transportation.

*Duties:*
Act as the primary contact for State Revolving Fund (SRF) payments and encumbrances.
Identify issues with disbursement requests and research Loans and Grants Tracking Systems (LGTS), FI$Cal, Transfer Letters, and Bond sheets as needed to document and recommend solutions.
Review and approve vouchers, encumbrances, and provide feedback.
Review the quality of work by lower-level accounting staff to maintain effective control, accountability, and timeliness.
Assist with coordination of year-end processes for Loans and Grants.
Independently review agreements on the GLRF and STD215 forms and complete Approval Checklist to ensure costs are allowable and appropriate.
Audit, post to the general ledger, and schedule invoices for payment.
Work independently with staff and program staff to resolve the more difficult problems including multi-fund issues, time extensions, reverting appropriations, cash transfer letters, and year-end accruals.
Ensure agreements are encumbered and disencumbered in LGTS for State Revolving Fund (SRF), Prop 1, Prop 68, and Safe & Affordable Drinking Water (SADW) and provide the documents to SRF and Bond units.
Resolve any issues that may arise.
Overtime during peak periods, such as yearend, may be required.
