Coordinates and performs complex accounting and clerical work of above average difficulty, including the maintenance of district financial and statistical records and other related work as required in accordance with provisions of the Education Code, Government Code, Civil Code, and public laws.

Organizes, prepares, verifies, and maintains payroll source documents for regular and substitute certificated and classified employees.

Analyzes and audits monthly timesheets and attendance reports for classified and certificated employees; reviews, and verifies days/hours worked; tabulates and maintains balances for sick leave, vacation, and/or contract days, and adjusts salary as necessary.
3.
Prepares supplemental payrolls and adjustments for employees that submit late time sheets and for irregular or non-recurring payments; calculates retroactive salary raises as needed.
4.
Reviews and processes timesheets and records for accuracy and completeness; calculates and records salary adjustments, overtime pay, and compensatory time as needed.
Qualifications: school district payroll and retirement methods, practices, and procedures.
Experience: generally, the required knowledge and abilities will have been acquired through at least three years of performing responsible fiscal and statistical record-keeping, including at least one year of public schools payroll experience and/or auditing or reporting of public schools retirement.
Knowledge of ESCAPE Technologies preferred.
