*General Description*
Responsible for maintaining the general ledger and ensuring the accurate and timely recording of payables and related payments in accordance with company policies and procedures.
*Responsibilities and Duties*
* Audit and process weekly coded invoices received from the clubs.
* Prepare weekly check runs.
* Obtain and maintain a thorough understanding of the financial reporting and general ledger structure.
* Assist with month end closing procedures, including journal entries, schedules and reconciliations.
* Ensure an accurate and timely monthly, quarterly and year end close.
* Ensure the accurate and timely processing of positive pay transactions.
* Complete 1099 and other miscellaneous forms as required.
* Assist with yearly audits and other audits including sales tax audits and business property tax audits.
* Field accounts payable questions and work with Club Account Techs, vendors or outside departments to reach resolution.
* Develop and implement processes to increase the efficiency of accounts payable.
* Oversee accounts payable invoice files.
* File quarterly sales tax returns for all clubs.
* File annual Business Property Statements for all clubs.
* Complete monthly bank reconciliations for all bank accounts.
* Manage vendor certificate of insurance.
* All other duties as assigned.
*Qualifications*
* Bachelor’s degree with an emphasis in accounting or equivalent experience.
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
* High degree of accuracy and attention to detail.
* Ability to work independently with critical deadlines and competing priorities.
* The ability to manage your time effectively.

Pay: $65,000.
00 - $75,000.
