Based in Sonoma, California, Kenwood Investments consists of a team of highly talented individuals.
The Human Resources and payroll Generalist is responsible for managing all aspects of the human resources department including payroll (Paylocity), recruitment and retention, employee relations, compensation, and benefits, leaves of absence, worker’s compensation, performance management, and creating, maintaining, and implementing Company policies and procedures.
The Human Resources Generalist maintains an open-door policy and ensures effective communication throughout the organization.
The HR function supports approximately 80 employees throughout various business units.
· Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business, or a related field and /or minimum 5+ years of experience in HR management or a combination of education and experience
· HR certification, desirable
· Two or more years of experience processing California payroll
· Comprehensive understanding of local, state, and federal employment laws
· Strong MS Office skills and intermediate Excel abilities
