Placer County Water Agency encompasses the entire, 1,500-square-mile boundary of Placer County, ranging from the rim of the Sacramento Valley on the west to the Sierra Nevada and Lake Tahoe on the east.
The Agency is headquartered in Auburn and carries out a broad range of responsibilities including water resource planning and management, retail and wholesale supply of irrigation water and drinking water, production of hydroelectric power and watershed stewardship across Placer County.
We are seeking candidates for the position of:

_Accounting Tech I: $4,483 - $4,942 monthly, DOQ, plus 3% COLA effective 01/13/2024_
_Accounting Tech II: $5,722 - $6,308 monthly, DOQ, plus 3% COLA effective 01/13/2024_
PCWA is seeking a dynamic individual to perform technical accounting duties involving the preparation and maintenance of the Agency’s accounting records, processing accounts payable and accounts receivable, and providing general administrative support on a temporary basis.
Our ideal candidate will possess specialized training in accounting, business administration, or a closely related field, and experience in financial record keeping and accounting/bookkeeping.
