*Accounts Payable Support Specialist* *ABOUT DMS:* Delta Managed Solutions, Inc.
(DMS) is a growing, successful 40+ employee company founded in 2003 to provide business and administrative back-office services to public charter schools throughout California.
While DMS is a private company, we strive to improve education for California's children through dedicated support of public charter schools and are seeking talented individuals who share this vision to join our team.
*POSITION SUMMARY:* We are seeking an Accounts Payable Clerk to work collaboratively with and provide ongoing and special task support for the Accounts Payable teams, their assigned client schools, and the company.
*ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:* (other duties may be assigned) Data entry and manipulation using Microsoft Office and accounting software.
Collaborate with the Accounts Payable team to process payment of invoices.
Coordinating remotely with school staff and vendors regarding payment approvals, purchase orders, receiving, and payment status via e-mail and phone.
Maintenance of client files, records, and procedures.
Assist in performing bank reconciliations and entering deposit information into accounting system as needed.
Assist in the completion of filing various compliance reports, including Use Tax and Property Tax Exemption Reports.
Representing firm professionally internally and externally via telephone, e-mail, and in-person contacts in an office setting.
Performing other related duties as assigned and as consistent with a small office.
*QUALIFICATIONS:* Accounts payable is a plus, but not required.
General computer proficiency– Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook), Office 365, SharePoint, and Adobe Acrobat.
Advanced computer proficiency with Excel, Adobe Acrobat, and accounting software is aplus, but not required.
Experience working with public schools and/or nonprofits a plus, but not required.
*EDUCATION:* High school diploma required.
Courses in bookkeeping, accounting, office management, business administration, and related subjects helpful.
*REQUIRED SKILLS:* Applicants must be able to physically interact inan office setting.
Must be able to work independently.
Must exercise initiative and good judgment.
Must be organized and capable of working to meet deadlines.
Must possess exemplary written and oral communication skills, professional office skills, and enjoy working in a (sometimes) fast paced, collegial environment.
Must be able to maintain a positive, professional, solution-oriented persona.
*COMPENSATION:* Market-competitive hourly full-time position – hourly rate to be determined commensurate with education and experience.

Job Type: Full-time Pay: $45,300.
00 - $55,400.
