Accounting Specialist AP and AR - part-time

Description: Seeking an Accounting Specialist to process accounts receivable, accounts payable for the organization.
The ideal candidate for this position will be well versed in accounting, detail oriented, self-motivated, and organized.
Helpful to have Sage 100 experience.
Part-time on site three days a week 24 hours.
Responsibilities: · Enter and process AP/AR in their Association Management Software.
· Enter deposits, enter AP & check monthly statements, enter AR & check monthly statements.
· Process registration for the association.
· Match invoices with payments in the accounting system and code deposits accordingly.
· Prepare journal entries for review and posting.
· Assist with internal and external audits by maintaining accurate and complete records to provide quick responses to audit requests.
· Provide support to Office Manager and team-members as needed to ensure a collaborative, team-based work environment.
· Collect data pertaining to employee work hours and pay rates.
Compile employee time, billing sheets production, payroll data from time sheets and other payroll records.

Requirements: · One to four years of accounting experience.
· Good computer skills to facilitate efficient completion of accounting tasks.
· Excellent interpersonal and clear communication skills to support collaborative problem solving.
· Ability to adapt to change and learn new skills.
