*STAFF ACCOUNT DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:*
* ·Must have RealPage- Onesite affordable housing experience
* Communicate with Supervisor’s, District Manager’s, and Resident Manager’s to obtain Reserve Requests.
* · Communicate with Owner’s and Investors to obtain approval.
* · Communicate with State and Government Agency’s to obtain approval.
* · Monitor the balance of the reserve accounts to ensure there are sufficient funds to cover the reserve requests AND ensure there are sufficient funds for long term capital improvements that will be completed in the years to come.
* · Submit approved Reserve invoices to Accounts Payable for payment and owners for signatures on Borrower Certifications and to lender for reimbursement from Reserve Account.
* · Maintain tracking record of where in the process each Reserve Request (approval, awaiting job completion, AP for payment, owner for signature, awaiting check from lender)
* · Scan completed requests and close out with agencies and owners.
* · Review regularly the status of the Reserve requests with Supervisor’s and President.
* · Maintain a master historical tracking log for all requests
*ACCOUNTING ASSISTANT RESPONSIBILITIES:*
* · Monthly bank account balancing, input journal entries, prepare bank deposits
* · Accounts payables for small portfolio
* · Maintain tracking logs for return to owner, engagement contracts, and laundry income
* · Reconcile company credit card
* *Requirements*
* · Position: Full-time
* · Education and Experience: 2-year Accounting Degree or practical experience
* · Strong analytic and administrative skills
* · Ability to work within a team environment
* · Efficient problem solver and a self-starter with the ability to set priorities daily
* · Accountable to punctuality and attendance
* · Preferred experience and knowledge in affordable housing
* · Software experience is preferred in Timberline, Excel, MS Word, Outlook and Adobe, RealPage-Onesite
* · Extensive experience and a solid understanding of accounting, financial reporting, and problem solving
* · Excellent demonstrated leadership, written and verbal communication skills
* · Have at the time of employment and maintain throughout employment, reliable transportation, a valid California Driver’s License, and automobile insurance.
* · Ability to read and write; ability to conduct yourself in a professional manner with residents, supervisors and vendors; regular and predictable attendance
