The California Public Employees’ Retirement System (CalPERS) is recruiting for a full-time permanent Associate Governmental Program Analyst (AGPA) position in the Employer Account Management Division’s (EAMD) Audit Compliance & Resolution Unit 1 (ACRU 1) .
EAMD is responsible for CalPERS membership and compensation compliance.
The ACRU 1 section is responsible for assisting CalPERS contracted employers with compensation reporting compliance and providing guidance on Written Labor Agreements (WLA), Publicly Available Pay Schedules (PAPS) and Out-of-Class (OOC) validation processes.
The ACRU 1 AGPA will be responsible for reviewing CalPERS contracted employer’s Written Labor Agreements (WLA) and Publicly Available Pay Schedules (PAPS) for compensation reporting compliance, interpretation, and application of the Public Employees’ Retirement Law (PERL), reconciling payroll reporting errors, reviewing Out-of-Class (OOC) validations for government code compliance and reporting compensation reporting trends and discrepancies to EAMD management.
The AGPA will also assist with individual CalPERS members compensation compliance, as it relates to pre/post-retirement, as well as providing guidance for employers to resolve compensation reporting audit findings.
Limited travel may be required.
