As the Payroll and Human Resources Administrator you will be responsible for the following: * Process payroll for employees accurately and on time * Ensure prevailing wage compliance in processing * Maintain employee payroll records and ensure data integrity * Calculate and process employee deductions, such as taxes, benefits, and garnishments * Prevailing wage payroll reporting * Prepare and distribute payroll reports to management as requested * Reconcile payroll discrepancies and resolve any issues or errors * Stay up to date with payroll law and regulations to ensure compliance * Provide Human Resources oversite and up-to-date HR regulations * Complete the onboarding process with new employees * Provide support to leadership in regular review and employee management processes * Assist with building the HR department infrastructure * Assist with creating and implementing new HR policies and procedures * Oversee employee benefits including open enrollment * Oversee injury reporting process and all Workers Compensation claims * Execute all EDD correspondence/ office mail relating to payroll, garnishments, and withholdings * Additional tasks related to employee management This position requires a detail-oriented individual with strong analytical skills.
The Payroll and Humand Resources Administrator will be responsible for processing payroll accurately and in a timely manner while ensuring compliance with all applicable laws and regulations.
The ideal candidate will have experience with payroll management systems like QB Time or ADP, as well as proficiency in accounting practices and software.
Additionally the ideal candidate will also have experience in managing: employee benefits, open enrollment, safety initiatives, injury reporting, EDD correspondence, and all employee questions/ requests.
Strong attention to detail, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work independently are essential for success in this role.
