To help meet our mission, we are looking for an *Internal Auditor* to join our Internal Audits Team.
*Associate Management Auditor*
You will be responsible for independently planning, conducting, and reporting on the results of complex operational, performance, compliance, information systems, and financial-related audits of the Lottery and agencies under contract.
You will also be the central point of contact for external audits with control agencies and independent contractors to facilitate efficient and effective evaluations and assist in responding to audit issues, findings, and recommendations.
*Desirable Qualifications:*
* Knowledge of auditing standards
* Knowledge of internal controls and risk-based audit concepts
* Ability to prioritize and complete assignments within deadlines
* Ability to write clear and concise audit reports
* Ability to work independently and as a team member
* Excellent attention to detail
* Excellent critical thinking and problem-solving skills
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Proficiency in the use of Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and Excel

* *Working conditions include:* The Lottery is currently operating under an emergency telework program and this position is mainly 100% remote-centered.
Based on the department’s operational needs, there is the possibility of occasionally working onsite in Sacramento County at Lottery Headquarters.
