Business Manager Grass Valley, CA Office (Full-Time) Description The Business Manager wears many hats and plays a critical role in the daily administrative functioning of our financial services firm.
With responsibility for the day-to-day administrative duties of the firm’s two office locations, the Business Manager supports the CEO, manages a dynamic CRM and calendar, interfaces with clients and vendors nationwide, maintains procedures and records and possesses an ability to problem solve.
Professional manner, strong work ethic, dependability and strong follow-through are vital traits for this position.
This position has a large focus on marketing and event coordination, social media management, website maintenance and executing the marketing plan.
Responsibilities & Activities Administration: • Manages CRM data/scheduling and guides consistency among staff • Communicates meetings and appointments with staff and clients • Supports CEO and other team members with administrative tasks • Manage staff meetings and retreats • Manages client annual review process • Documents and manages projects and priorities • Client interface including daily incoming client phone calls, emails, texts and mail • Develop and maintain written systems of all activities • Greet clients and prospective clients, virtually and in person, in a friendly and sincere manner • Handle/route incoming telephone calls • Send periodic client correspondence • Perform other duties as assigned Marketing: • Oversees event planning, preparation, and follow-up (virtual and in person) • Manage multiple marketing functions including social media and website maintenance • Creates compelling advertisements for web and print media • Maintains accurate marketing lists and meets compliance requirements • Manages periodic publications • Coordinate client gifts and acts of kindness for life events Compliance: • Ensure office meets compliance standards, maintains inspection process • Oversees record keeping/reporting and retention • Oversees internal audits Required Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities • An “own it” attitude and a positive outlook on challenges • An ability to interface professionally and build strong rapport with staff and clients • An ability to adapt, work well and thrive on a high performing team • Experience with social media and growing follower base • Experience with and affinity for marketing • Basic video editing/production (YouTube) • Comfortable with and experience with working with IT vendors • Positive, helpful attitude and an exceptional client service orientation • A strong focus on getting the details right • Strong Microsoft Office Suite skills • Strong verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills • Strong ability to problem solve individually and with the team • A genuine interest in serving and caring for other people • Excellent organizational and time management skills and ability to multi-task • Professional demeanor • Ability to type 50 wpm • Ability to be a consistent, dependable and reliable team player Preferred Knowledge, Skills, & Abilities • Interest in and knowledge of financial markets and investment securities • Previous marketing, social media and event planning experience • Possesses a creative ability for creating promotional material • BA/BS degree from an accredited institution About King Wealth Planning King Wealth Planning, Inc.
