Minimum Qualifications
• Strong knowledge of the English language
• Authorized to work in the United States
• Ability to take direction from Supervisor – Accounting Manager
• Proven record of reliability, confidentiality, and conscientious work habits
• Solid experience using QuickBooks Desktop - Windows (QB certified preferred)
• Strong knowledge of GAAP
• Advanced in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel, Word and Outlook, Dropbox, and Google Sheets
• Proven ability to engage with a variety of staff for needed data
• Proven ability to transform manual and hand-written systems into a shareable document like Excel
• Ability to work independently with little supervision
• Ability to organize and prioritize effectively
• Prefer some payroll experience
This is an hourly, part-time employment/contractor position.
Anticipated weekly commitment is between 5 and 10 hours, with increased hours in the first week of each month to accommodate for EOM duties.
QTRLY and EOY reconciliation may also require additional hours.
Additional hours may be needed during training period.
Hours are flexible.
This is a new position for us and if you think you are the right person, let us know! While this is primarily a remote position, in-person training will be required.
Preference will be given to candidates already living in the north-eastern Sacramento region.
