Hours: Full-time from Jan 15 to April 15, Part-time the remainder of the year.
It would be possible to split the tax season hours (January to April) between two candidates with 15 - 25 hrs each.

Our office mainly provides tax preparation services, tax planning, and financial coaching.
This position could be a great opportunity for a student in Accounting, Business Management, Economics, Financial Planning, and related fields or somebody re-entering the job market after a break.
The position requires a high level of professionalism, solid writing skills, and excellent office, computer (MS Office, Excel, Outlook, Adobe, ideally QBO), administrative, data entry skills, and a high level of speed and accuracy.
An applicant must be able to keep to the strictest confidentiality, possess the ability to self-organize, and work independently with minimal instructions.
Duties include:
Communication:
Friendly and professional in person communication
Outgoing and incoming phone calls
Emails to clients
General Office duties:
Scanning, printing, compiling of documents.
Filing of paper documents
Maintaining data bank
Updating client lists
Correspondence with clients via email and USPS/UPS mail.
Financial Field:
Preparatory Bookkeeping
Create Invoices
Data entry
For those candidates with an interest in tax preparation paid training and the opportunity to become a licensed tax preparer would be available.
A gradual move from administrative responsibilities to tax preparation duties would be supported.
Experience with data entry, QBO, and tax preparation are a plus, but not required.
