Bookkeeper in GRASS VALLEY, M-F 8AM-1:30PM, $28/HR

Elite HR Logistics – Grass Valley, CA Well established growing company looking for a bookkeeper to join our family.
* Schedule * Hours: between 8am-1:30pm * “5” days week * Compensation: * Hourly position * bonuses are DOE * 90 day plus annual reviews for raises * Direct Deposit - Every Friday! Qualifications: * Proficient in MS Excel, Word, and QuickBooks * We have our own software Must understand basic principles of accounting * Must have minimum 3-yr experience working in an accounting/bookkeeping Duties to learn but not limited to: * Assist with month-end financial reports * Post journal entries * Help with accounts receivable, payable and bank statement reconciliation * Balance sheet reconciliation * Data entry * Keep track of accounts receivables and payables through aging of accounts * Assist in sending out and replying to demand letters * Set up new accounts in the books * Enter financial transactions in the books of accounts Requirements * Ability to work well without constant direction * Strong oral and written communication skills * Strong organizational skills and attention to detail * Positive attitude and willing to make things positive * Values hands-on collaboration and teamwork * Accounting Major required This position has the opportunity for growth and advancement for the right individual.
