It requires extensive business system analysis, user interaction and production support experience.
HR Payroll Application Analyst will work primarily with end users on day-to-day issues and will be responsible for supporting the incidents that arise for the sustainment of a complex Oracle & other Business Applications.
The position will be defining the business requirements and converting requirements into functional designs to implement new features and enhancements.
The position will be part of a professional team of people providing single point of contact for the efficient resolution of end-user application problems and requests.
She/he will also work very closely with end users in defining the process flow and design of the supported area and suggest improvements to better leverage the functionality provided by Oracle Cloud Payroll, HR, OAB, Kronos and applications in HRIS.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS: Diagnose & resolve system issues while working under pressure to meet aggressive deadlines.
Identify process and gap analysis in regard to payroll and HRIS process and document business requirements for new functionality.
Troubleshoot and resolve system problems encountered by end users Oracle Fusion HR/Payroll and Oracle EBS Payroll experience.
Knowledge/ability to lead Payroll year-end processing Liaison between benefits and HR data integrating with Oracle payroll product Analyze and solve complex problems, provide documentation, guidance and instruction to users at all levels.
Strong Knowledge of Application Implementation Methodology (AIM), Application object Library (AOL) implementation standards and software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Expertise on designing and implementing Oracle Alerts and Lookups.
Expertise in RICEW components (Reports, Interfaces, Conversions, Extensions, Workflows) Be a team player with strong communication & customer service skills with the ability to stay on task when working independently.
Must be able to organize and manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
Consistently ensures the team provides the customer with attentive, courteous and informative service.
Gains and shows personal satisfaction from delivering great service EDUCATION: Minimum of Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems or other related discipline.
EXPERIENCE: Minimum 6+ years of experience in Oracle HR, Payroll, Advanced Benefits, Compensation and Recruiting applications.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS: 5 years of experience in Oracle Fusion and Oracle EBS Payroll/HRMS.
Experience in Fusion is preferred.
Excellent in defining business requirements, identify system solutions to meet the business needs, perform set-ups, create and modify test scripts and scenarios and be able to impart end user training.
Good knowledge of Reports, Interfaces and experience is writing ad-hoc queries are required.
Expertise in SQL, PLSQL, Forms, reports, Workflow, BI Publisher is required.
Experience in year-end and quarter end payroll processing.
Experience with Oracle Apex Development Must be a self-starter, proactive and be able to interface with end users and prioritize issues and manage user expectations.
Candidate must possess excellent communication, presentation and troubleshooting skills overall.
Ability to understand and follow standard operating policies and procedures.
Knowledge of standard Microsoft software applications, i.
e.
Word, Excel, Microsoft Project, PowerPoint and Visio required.
Experience in Union Payroll processing would be preferred.
Engineering and Construction Related Industry Knowledge would be preferred.
