Job Description
The Office/Accounting Assistant is responsible for supporting the daily operations of accounts receivable and office administration.
This position will maintain and improve sustained cash flow through diligent and monitoring of our customer accounts.
Essential Job Functions:
Oversee and support administrative duties in the office and ensure that office is operating smoothly
Negotiate and settle non-payment disputes with clients efficiently
Process bank deposit on a daily basis and verify cash flow
Collections including calls for COD
Receive and sort incoming mail and deliveries, and manage outgoing mail
Receive and scan carrier invoice and checks to AP department
Set up credit limits and process new customers applications as need
Assist team with Chargeback dispute as needed
Print all refund checks
Deposit checks and cash for 262 project
Collect COD from drivers and carriers
Reconcile daily cash and ensure accurate safe count
Print AP checks as need
Match bank deposits in QBO for AR
Process DMV titles
Utilize various applications to accurately record and report financial data
Perform related duties as assigned, within your scope of practice
