Responsibilities
Job Summary / Purpose
Provides leadership, management, and coordination related to the accounting for corporate departments and entities to ensure timely and accurate reporting.
Interacts with customers to ensure relevant reports and information are delivered and customer satisfaction achieved.
Essential Key Job Responsibilities
Develops and directs initiatives for improving internal business processes, technology enhancements and meeting future service needs.
Oversees and evaluates the performance of accounting staff, and provides guidance on their career development.
Supports special requests and projects of corporate departments and functions as needed/requested.
Produces accurate and timely financial reports for internal and external use, in accordance with GAAP.
Business Orientation - Knowledge of business concepts, tools and techniques and ability to operate with a business mindset that complements one's functional specialty and keeps it in a business context.
Financial Reporting - Knowledge of processes, methods, and tools of financial reporting; ability to create and maintain accurate and thorough financial reports.
Tax Operations - Knowledge of tax practices and regulations and the ability to prepare and file federal, state and local tax returns.
Financial Analysis - Knowledge of and ability to read, interpret and draw accurate conclusions from financial and numerical material.
Accounting - Knowledge of and the ability to use the methods, processes, and tools for maintaining and preparing financial statements and reports.
Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP) - Knowledge of the generally accepted accounting principles and the ability to apply them appropriately within the organization.
Accounts Payable (A-P) - Knowledge of an organization's billing requirements and the ability to utilize the proper tools and follow accounts payable practices and procedures.
General Ledger (G-L) - Knowledge of tools, practices and considerations for general ledger; the ability to update and validate general ledger data.
Qualifications
Education and Experience:
Bachelors degree in Finance Accounting or Finance concentration or five plus years of experience in lieu of degree
Minimum of five (5) years of accounting and financial experience.

Pay Range
$40.
