We also have worked for individual homeowners and one-off projects Summary The Certified Payroll Specialist will provide compliance support as it pertains to various aspects of projects; from start up, to prevailing wage, and specific labor compliance with state and federal regulations.
This person will be a self- starter and have attention to detail.
Essential Duties The Certified Payroll Specialist duties include but are not limited to the following.
These duties describe the minimum activities of this position.
These duties are subject to change to accommodate the needs of the company.
· Compiling payroll data for field employees and reconciles for errors to maintain payroll records.
· Identifying and resolving internal discrepancies on certified payroll on CPR’s.
· Researching questions concerning certified payroll.
· Submittal of all State and Union required reporting by deadlines set.
· Ensure prevailing wage/ certified payroll is processed correctly with required reporting.
· Prepares and maintains accurate records and reports of certified payroll transactions.
· Ensures compliance with federal, state, and local payroll, wage and hour laws and best practices.
· Submittal of all apprenticeship project information and requests by deadlines set.
· Submittal of certified payroll to agencies.
· Review, tracking and submittal of certified payroll and payroll documents.
· Accomplishes organization goals by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; exploring opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.

· Heavy construction certified payroll experience required · LCP and DIR experience required · OCPS and EMARES Experience highly desired · Union experience required.
· Strong knowledge of payroll processes and relevant legal regulations · Strong math and analytical skills.
· Submission of DAS forms (140, 142) required · Pro Contractor experience highly desired Required Skills Ability to communicate effectively with all construction groups, internally and externally, management, owners, trades, vendors, and subs.
The ability to work independently and resourcefully, yet intuitively know when and how to inform, verify, collaborate, and escalate.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, word, excel and outlook.
Proficient in payroll software.
Proficient in labor compliance software.
Must have organizational skills and be detail oriented.
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities.
