POSITION SUMMARY: Under the supervision of the Controller, this position performs month-end close process for multiple manufacturing plants, compiles statistical and analytical reports, performs A/P processing for Roseville location, performs periodic internal control audits which may require travel, and assist in other finance related areas as needed; and is responsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success.

SUPERVISION RECEIVED: General
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following.

Assist in month end close process which includes communicating with multiple plants, preparing/posting journal entries, performing cost center audits and compiling financial reports.
A/P processing for Subsidiary office.
Compile monthly statistical/analytical reports as requested by Subsidiary Management.
Review cost center and internal order reports on a weekly basis for accuracy, communicate with plant personnel to facilitate corrections as needed.
Review sales margin reports on a weekly basis for accuracy, communicate with plant personnel to facilitate corrections as needed.
Perform periodic internal control audits as requested by Controller and/or CFO.
Balance sheet reconciliation and accounting policy audit.
Assist finance department as needed
Attends safety meetings and abides by all safety rules set forth by company and governmental regulatory agencies; ensures that hazardous conditions are reported and corrected.
Predictable and Regular attendance is required.
QUALIFICATIONS To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.
The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.
Four-year degree from accredited college or university: Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with a concentration in Accounting or Finance.
Two to four years professional accounting experience.
Must have working knowledge of generally accepted accounting principles.
Experience with automated accounting system, SAP experience preferred but not required.
Requires strong written and verbal communication skills to effectively communicate with inter-company personnel and management group in a professional manner.
Must be able to work with detail, good organizational skills and be able to meet deadlines in timely manner.
Must be proficient in Microsoft Excel, MS Word, and MS Outlook; operate 10-key by touch, and various other standard office machines and equipment.
The ability to multi-task.

Salary Range: $65k-$75K / annually DOE
