As a Staff Accountant, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the accuracy and efficiency of our financial operations.
*What you will do:*
* Enters daily sales and cost journals into QuickBooks (Desktop Enterprise Edition).
* Provide Bill.
com support
* Daily reconciliation of external sales, inventory & merchant processing systems to accounting software.
* Update and maintenance of Bloomberg Fixed Assets database.
* Periodic client invoicing and payment record.
* Review payroll prior to submission.
* Month-end reconciliation support.
* Assist with year-end financial reporting and tax return preparation.
* Identify discrepancies and errors in billing / payments.
To excel in this role, you'll need experience in various software systems including:
* Bill.

* QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise Edition
* Paycom
* Google Suite & Microsoft Excel
* SquareSpace, Square, Inflow
What you need:
* 3-5 years of accounting experience, with a focus on the hospitality industry
* Knowledge and understanding of deferred/realized revenue
* Strong knowledge of hospitality sales and transient occupancy taxes
* Bachelor's degree or higher in accounting
* Proficiency in QuickBooks Desktop Enterprise Edition
* Proficiency with Google Suite and Microsoft Excel
* Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills
