Accounting Clerk

*Description of work:* RFAM, an outside services provider related to NMI is seeking an accounting assistant.
The Accounting Assistant is responsible for maintaining timely and accurate accounting records for multiple entities, and to effectively communicate with others.
*Job Responsibilities:* * Bookkeeping and Accounting for multiple related entities.
* Process bank deposits and payments.
Process accounts payable, including tracking expenditures budgets.
* Collect, verify and record rent payments collected through an online portal and maintain spreadsheets.
* Reconcile bank accounts.
* Complete special projects as assigned.
*Physical Demands:* * The position will require the occasional physical ability to climb, and function in elevation changes by means of self-propulsion to include stairs, etc.
* While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk or hear.
The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms.
* Lifting is not a primary part of the job but on occasion, the employee may be required to lift up to 20 pounds.
*Position Type/Expected Hours of Work* This is an in-office position with some flexibility in hours is allowed, but the employee must be available during the “core” work hours of 8:00 a.
m.
to 5:00 p.
m.
