20 monthUtility Billing Services Representatives perform specialized and complex customer service work in a centralized utilities customer services office dealing with consolidated billing for water, wastewater, refuse and other fee service billings, many of which are mandatory; processes requests for residential and commercial utility services; maintains and researches fiscal, service, and related records unique to utility services and billing; responds to and reconciles customer service complaints and billing problems; explains utility service, billing and collection policies to customers.
Utility Billing Services Representative is a single working class with two salary levels.
The level at which initial appointments are made, and advancement from the lower to the higher level is at the discretion of the appointing authority providing the minimum qualifications are met.
