ACCOUNTS PAYABLE

Deacon Construction, a major General Contractor with offices throughout the West Coast, is looking for a motivated individual to join our accounting department in the Sacramento office.
Primary responsibilities: Manage full cycle accounts payable process: code, enter, void/edit and pay invoices on time and accurately Generate check runs and match checks; prepare for mailing Conduct audits on all statements Keep excellent records; Update system, file all documents.
Research and resolve billing issues; contact vendor and resolve outstanding issues Resolves account discrepancies by investigating and analyzing documentation Maintains vendor relations and communicates any issues to other necessary departments Facilitate approval Customer credit references/applications Data input and 10 key by touch Deacon Construction is a drug-free company offering competitive wages and excellent benefits.
