OCMI has an excellent immediate opportunity for a full-time Accounts Receivable/Billing Coordinator to join our dynamic accounting team! If you are a detail-oriented professional with a knack for managing accounts receivable and a passion for precision in financial processes, we would love to hear from you! Our ideal candidate lives within commuting distance to an OCMI office (most preferably our headquarters located in Irvine, CA), have prior experience with Deltek Vantagepoint, a positive attitude, and is a quick learner.
The position’s work hours are Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM Pacific Time, with some scheduling flexibility.
The Accounts Receivable/Billing Coordinator Responsibilities include:
Deltek Vantagepoint Setup (50%): Set up client projects in Deltek Vantagepoint as per contract requirements, ensuring accurate and efficient project initiation.
Accounts Receivable Management (30%): Identify, monitor, and proficiently manage accounts receivable and client collection issues, ensuring timely resolution and maintaining healthy client relationships.
Accounting Support & Special Projects (20%): Collaborate with the accounting department, providing support as needed and contributing to various special projects to enhance financial processes.
Qualifications:
Accounts receivable/client collections experience required.
ERP system experience required; Deltek Vantagepoint experience highly desired.
General knowledge of accounting principles and processes.
Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite; strong Excel skills required.
Must have a professional demeanor and the ability to communicate effectively and appropriately with clients and managers.
Must have strong problem-solving skills and the ability to prioritize and multi-task in a deadline-oriented environment.
Associate’s/College degree preferred; BS/BA in Accounting highly desired.
