The Jr.
Accounts Payable Analyst will provide regional support to multiple branches, in the area of Payables.
This position is fully in-office and based in our West Sacramento, CA branch.
Pay starts at $20/hr.
* *Pay is negotiable, depending on experience, skillset, and education.
Job Responsibilities: Receive and distribute incoming AP invoices for approval Prepare and process invoices in internal system (Deltek Vision) in an accurate and timely manner, while adhering to departmental procedures Handle administrative tasks, such as scanning, printing, and data entry Assist in preparation of bi-weekly and monthly vendor statements Monitor and track aging AP Review and verify vendor statements as needed Enter and maintain new vendor accounts Maintain subcontractor agreements Identify and resolve any discrepancies between invoices and payables' outstanding Manage and reconcile multiple credit card accounts May assist with COI (Certificate of Insurance) requests as needed Other job duties as assigned by Direct Supervisor and Sr.
AP Analyst Required Qualifications: High School Diploma/GED Valid Driver's License, with an acceptable driving record Minimum 1 yr.
of experience performing AP duties and functions, in a current or recent role Understanding of compliance issues around accounts payables processes (W-9, COI, licenses, etc.
) Detail-oriented, with excellent organizational and time management skills Professional etiquette and excellent customer service skills (written and verbal) Ability to effectively communicate information to and work with all levels of the organization Strong analytical and investigative skills, with the a high sense of urgency to addressing discrepancies Excellent problem-solving skills, with a strong level of commitment to accuracy and eagerness for resolving errors and problems.
Ability to be helpful and informative, and work in a team-oriented environment Ability to follow and retain instructions and learn new tasks quickly Good understanding of MS Office programs, including Word and Excel Preferred Qualifications: Experience in the AEC (architecture, engineering, construction) industry is a PLUS, but not required Experience with Deltek Vision is a PLUS, but not required Who We Are: UES provides essential engineering services for some of the most prominent and significant projects in the nation.
