We are looking for a dynamic Jr.
Accountant/Administrator.

Key Requirements: Responsible for accounts payable functions and administration of workers compensation.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: include the following.
Other duties may be assigned.
Accounts Payable: Enter, process & track payments for vendors;
Balance and submitting of quarterly payroll tax forms (941, DE9, DE9C) for clients;
Perform administrative and clerical tasks such as data entry and generating reports;
Issue certificates of insurance;
Manage processes for insurance policies;
Research and resolve account discrepancies and audit discrepancies;
Resolve clients questions and concerns;
Monitor department emails;
Complete insurance policy renewals;
Work with auditors during audits and conduct internal audits;
Assist with changes to insurance policies and class codes;
Manage payroll reporting and payments for insurance policies;
Document the requirements and correspond with WCIRB;
Other tasks as assigned by supervisor
Education and/or Experience:
2+ years of experience in either accounting or insurance functions
High School diploma or GED is required
Knowledge of Excel and QuickBooks is required
Proficient with 10-key
Basic accounting knowledge (journal entries, reconciliations, etc.
)
Must demonstrate good judgment and independent thinking
Highly organized and methodical
Excellent interpersonal and customer service skills
Detail-oriented and self-starter, with strong analytical skills
Willing/interested in learning new software and skills related to accounting and insurance
Must be professional and able to work independently with minimal supervision
