We are seeking an experienced Financial Analyst to join our team!
*\*\*THIS IS A REMOTE POSITION BUT CANDIDATES MUST RESIDE IN GREATER SACRAMENTO AREA\*\**
*Responsibilities:*
* Execute various special assignments delegated by different business units/departments
* Develop, update, and maintain comprehensive reports for financial planning and analysis, facilitating informed decision-making by the management and executive team.
* Conduct thorough analysis of historical data, perform variance analysis, identify emerging trends, and provide actionable recommendations to senior management.
* Reconcile transactions meticulously by cross-referencing incoming and outgoing data to ensure accuracy and integrity.
* Collaborate closely with the Power BI unit to establish and maintain business requirements for dashboard reporting of reinsurance premiums
* Conduct rigorous testing, reconciliation, and validation of data reporting processes between the Risk-Transfer unit, Power BI unit, and IT team to ensure consistency and reliability.
*Qualifications:*
* Bachelor’s degree in business, finance, insurance, economics, or a related field.
* 5-10 years of proven experience in financial analysis.
* Preferred background in insurance, banking, or healthcare sectors
* Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
* Advanced skills in Excel, including formulas, functions, and pivot tables.
* Experience working with databases such as SQL, Access, etc.
* Familiarity with Power BI is a plus
* Strong analytical abilities, adept at gathering and interpreting data, and generating insightful reports.
* Meticulous attention to detail to ensure accuracy in analysis and reporting.
* Excellent presentation and communication skills, capable of effectively conveying information to senior leadership and the executive team.

Pay: $50.
