Marconi Montessori, a leading Montessori school in the area, serves children ages 3 months to 6 years.
We are seeking two qualified Montessori Primary Guides to join our team.
As a Montessori Primary Guide, you will be responsible for:
* Presenting and integrating primary curriculum for students
* Facilitating parent engagement/education and conferences
* Record and data management
* Student assessment
* Modeling grace, courtesy, and compassion with all children and adults
We offer active training from internal and external sources, as well as regular classroom observations and coaching throughout the year for Montessori Guides with less than 2 years of experience.
Requirements:
* AMI or AMS Montessori certification in primary, required
* Minimum 12 ECE core units + more is desirable (proof of current enrollment OK)
* Prior experience working in a Montessori program, required (minimum 2 years preferred)
* Proof of eligibility to legally work in the U.
S.
* Physical fitness for this demanding but rewarding job (MUST be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
)
* Understand developmentally appropriate practices
* CPR/First Aid Certified
* Fingerprint clearance
* TB clearance/ Health screening
