We introduce phonics (letter recognition & sounds) when children are 3 and a group of Transitional Kindergarten (4 yr.
old) students will read their first books before entering kindergarten.
Daily art projects not only develop creative thinkers, but also develop the children’s fine motor skills.
Our work environment includes: * Modern school setting * Staff kitchen * Teacher's lounge Our preschool is looking for a talented individual to work with a class of students aged 2-3 years old.
The candidate for this position will be responsible for implementing the curriculum, planning and conducting activities, keeping detailed records of student progress and liaising with colleagues to ensure that the children are meeting their learning goals.
We have one full-time (8 hours/daily) position working Monday to Friday with benefits.
Responsibilities: * Be able to communicate in a positive way that is respectful and supportive of the whole child.
* Create lessons that promote language development, play and learning, and critical thinking skills.
* Teach children how to deal with difficult social interactions.
* Be able to work effectively with children of varying age groups.
* Respond to questions and concerns of parents.
* Work as part of a team.
* Maintain a clean, safe, and healthy environment for children.
Job Type: Full-time Pay: $17.
00 - $19.
