After-School Program Aide

After-school positions available in the Greater Sacramento area! Are you interested in creating change? Influencing the next generation? Making after school hours valuable to youth? Sacramento area non-profit organization Leaders of Tomorrow After-School Program is looking for highly motivated applicants to join our team of dedicated expanded learning practitioners.
Great experience for students and those considering a career in teaching, tutoring or youth development.
Must be interested in working with diverse youth ranging in ages 6 - 12 years old.
Providing mentoring, safety, and student engagement.
Before submitting resume, please make sure you have: · MUST be available Mon-Fri generally from 12:00PM-6:00PM.
· Can pass background check and fingerprinting with non-profit agency and school district.
· TB clearance within the past 2 years.
· Experience working with elementary students and/or youth in a school or after-school setting is a plus but not required.
· Classroom management experience is a plus.
· Athletic and/or art background a plus! · Knowledge of Social Emotional Learning tactics a plus! · Infectious positive energy that will inspire youth is a plus! Program Aides are assigned to multiple elementary school sites within the Sacramento City Unified School District but primarily work at one base location.
Weekly work schedule generally follows the Sacramento City Unified School District school year calendar and may be subject to summer break and holiday breaks.
Job Type: Part-time Pay: $18.
