About the Family:
Our busy and active Lotus family is looking for a hybrid candidate who can vacillate as a House Manager/ Family Assistant.
Their children are older so they don’t need as much support but mom and dad both work busy full-time jobs and travel so they need a family ambassador to help keep the household running smoothly.
It’s a blend of higher-level project management skills and general household organization, tidying, errands, and cooking.

Responsibilities:
Help manage the family's calendar and prioritize events and kid activities, work with me to map out coverage and related needs
Have a finger on who needs to be where/when
Arrange personal and family travel.
Create itineraries, coordinate details of transportation, lodging and activities, etc.
Research vacation ideas, summer activities, sports programs, etc.
Assist with household maintenance and renovation projects.
Coordinate with vendors and contractors.
Help prepare the household for guest arrival and events
Oversee events and dinner parties, including coordinating with guests and their preferences, event set up, and take down.
Implement and maintain a household manual, vendor list, and an approved product list for home and personal items, including sourcing information and keeping an inventory of personal and household items for restocking as needed.
Process incoming and outgoing mail.
Assist in errands – dry cleaning, picking up groceries, tallying pantry and grocery needs, birthday and holiday gift research/purchase/wrapping, store or post office returns, kid pickups, etc
Contribute to a variety of ad hoc projects and needs such as: closet and dresser rearranging and clearing, toy inventory and assessment, birthday and holiday party planning and decorating, etc
Qualifications:
Previous experience as a Personal Assistant, Family Assistant or similar role.
Excellent communication skills - both written and verbal.
Trustworthy individual, with an utmost sense of confidentiality and discretion.
Ability to adapt well to changes and environment
Hardworking and resourceful - do whatever it takes to get the job done.
Solution-oriented.
Ability to work well independently.
Positive attitude, high energy, strong work ethic, and excellent attention to detail.

Prior experience as a Family Assistant or Household Assistant
Experience with older school-age children
Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask effectively.
Strong ethical boundaries, professionalism and work ethic
Excellent communication skills.
Ability to adapt to the family's needs and routines.
Requirements:
A minimum of 3-5 years of recent, professional Personal or Family Assistant experience
Strong English communication skills
Strong references from past employers
Willing to pass two background checks (Trustline & Nanny Verify)
Ability to make at least a 1-3+ year minimum commitment
