Sanitation Worker

*Job Summary: *Maintain the cleanliness of the facility; perform fumigation; spray pesticides and herbicides.
*Essential Duties and Responsibilities:* * Maintain and generally clean all areas of the plant including rooftops.
* Clean filters on the top of tanks.
* Spray various pesticides and herbicides with several different types of sprayers; which includes perform various types of fumigations.
* Maintaining the tank farm, which includes cleaning from the top to the bottom; checking empty finished tanks for cleaning.
* Checking the glue boards and the tin-cats, making sure they are free from mice, log findings; clean and maintain bait stations.
* Spray for weeds when needed.
* Check with the production staff for any tanks or railcars that need to be fumigated.
* Check with production staff for any finish tanks that may need to be cleaned.
* Operate Forklift when needed.
* Work rotating shifts and overtime when required.
* Manage and utilize Safety/SDS Sheets * Follows and encourages coworkers to understand and adhere to Cal/OSHA regulations and Sun Valley Policies to work safely and efficiently * Understands and adheres to HACCP/FSSC 22000 food safety standards * Follows Sun Valley’s Good Manufacturing Practices * All other duties as assigned *Supervisory Responsibilities:* This job has no supervisory responsibilities.
