JOB SUMMARY
The Bowling Center Customer Service Attendant provides bowling center customers with prompt, friendly, and efficient service while maintaining cleanliness and organizational standards, and ensures maximum utilization of lanes and equipment through efficient control of customer flow.
Customer Service Attendants will be responsible for assisting cost control, service standards, operational procedures and policies, guest relations, sanitation, environment control, cash handling, teamwork, and safety and security.
Customer Service Attendants are expected to maintain the quality and ethical standards set by Red Hawk.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Greet customers in a friendly manner while providing information on programs, promotions, pricing and specials
Accurately ring sales and follow cash handling procedures
Answer phones in a professional manner
Assist guests with making lane or party reservations
Operate cash register
Assist customers with basic bowling instructions
Troubleshoot and perform basic maintenance on bowling scoring systems
Proactively ensure that a clean, safe environment is maintained at all times
Follow all company safety and security operating standards; reports incidents, injuries and unsafe work conditions to management
Manage organization and cleanliness of departmental areas
Ensures the highest level of quality and standards of service.
Assists in the execution of any special events
Stay informed on company’s policies and procedures under the direction of the APEX Bowling Manager as they relate to the Bowling Department.
Follow equipment operational compliance with appropriate laws and policies including OSHA safety practices and procedures.
Performs all other duties as assigned.
QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS
High School Diploma or equivalent experience
Must be 18 years of age
Interest and/or knowledge of Bowling
Willingness to work a flexible schedule including holidays, nights, and weekends
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
Walk or stand for extended periods.
Must be able to lift up to 20 lbs.
on a regular and continuing basis
Perform functions that require organization, bending, reaching, turning, lifting, climbing and stocking up to 50lbs.
The ability to communicate quickly and accurately
The work environment may include bright, dim or flashing lights and loud sounds
Requires manual dexterity to use and operate all necessary equipment
Be able to understand, follow and maintain safety standards at all times
