Dispatcher/Customer Service

Our company is seeking a dynamic person to apply their skills within our communications department.
We are a fast paced ambulance dispatch and call center servicing Yuba and Sutter Counties.
We are located in Yuba City.
*Essential Duties:* * Applicants need to have a positive, courteous, professional and helpful demeanor.
* Coordinate all emergency and non-emergency ambulance transports.
* Take messages and relay all critical information via radios and telephones.
* Answering calls and routing messages for Yuba Sutter Call Center / KMK investments.
*Qualifications: * * Minimum of 45 words per minute typing speed * High School Diploma/GED * Great communication skills * Ability to handle high call volumes and perform efficiently in a busy environment.
* General knowledge of geographical orientation, cities and locations of highways, hospitals and main streets in Yuba-Sutter Counties and surrounding areas * Spanish/Punjabi speaking is preferred but not required *Shifts:* Dispatch is available 24/7, 365 days a year.
There are 2 dispatchers on duty at all times.
Shifts vary to allow for 24hr coverage.
During down time employees are able to study for classes as needed.
*Schedule: * Applicants need to be able to work Day, Night, Weekend and Holliday shifts.
*Wages:* Annual Salary starting at $36,700.
Shift differential also avaiable.
