Position Overview:
We are currently seeking a dedicated and customer-oriented Member Service Representative to join our team.
The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring our members receive outstanding service, addressing inquiries, and providing information related to their healthcare plans.
Key Responsibilities:

\*\*Member Assistance:\*\* Respond promptly and professionally to member inquiries regarding benefits, coverage, claims, and general policy information.

\*\*Problem Resolution:\*\* Effectively resolve member issues, ensuring satisfaction and maintaining positive relationships.
3.
\*\*Policy Knowledge:\*\* Stay informed about healthcare policies, plans, and industry updates to provide accurate and up-to-date information to members.
4.
\*\*Documentation:\*\* Maintain accurate and detailed records of member interactions, ensuring confidentiality and compliance with privacy regulations.
5.
\*\*Collaboration:\*\* Work closely with internal departments such as claims, underwriting, and enrollment to address member needs and concerns.
6.
\*\*Educational Support:\*\* Assist members in understanding their healthcare plans, including explaining benefits, copayments, and other relevant information.
7.
\*\*Outreach:\*\* Proactively reach out to members for wellness programs, preventive care, and follow-ups as needed.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in customer service or a similar role within healthcare industry .
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Knowledge of healthcare insurance policies and procedures is a plus.
- Ability to navigate computer systems and databases efficiently.
- Empathetic and patient demeanor.
Education:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Additional coursework in healthcare administration or related field is advantageous.
