AVL Academy, a leading beauty academy in Fair Oaks, CA, is currently seeking a self-motivated and enthusiastic Front Desk Receptionist to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have a bubbly personality, exceptional customer service skills, the ability to handle student payments and inquiries efficiently.
As a front desk receptionist, you will play a crucial role in creating a positive and welcoming environment for our students and visitors.
*RESPONSIBILITIES:*
- Greet and warmly welcome visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Answer phone calls, take detailed messages, and redirect calls to the appropriate departments
- Coordinate and manage assigned projects effectively
- Perform various clerical tasks, including filing, photocopying, and organizing documents
- Accurately transcribe notes and documents as required
- Provide outstanding customer support by promptly addressing inquiries and resolving issues
- Maintain a clean and organized front desk area for a pleasant aesthetic
*REQUIREMENTS:*
*- SPANISH SPEAKING IS REQUIRED*
- Previous experience in a customer support or front desk role is preferred
- Familiarity with working in an academy front desk environment is a plus
- Strong proofreading and typing skills to ensure accurate transcription of documents
- Excellent organizational skills with the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
- Self-motivated and proactive in identifying areas for improvement
- Proficient in handling cash and electronic payments professionally
- Adaptability to new software and computer systems without difficulty
- Exceptional communication skills and a positive attitude
- Must be outgoing, friendly, and comfortable interacting with people
