We are looking for a reliable Dispatcher to act as a communication point for customers and team members.
You will be a leader and the heartbeat to our HVAC Service Department.
POSITION SUMMARY
The Dispatcher is the liaison for communication between customers and team members.
Their main duties include receiving customer work orders and prioritizing and scheduling them by assigning to technicians.
Responsible for providing answers to questions by retrieving information from the necessary departments and supervising the technician routes to prioritize and organize their schedule.
Follow professional development plan to accomplish individual goals.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
• Answer phones, using telephones, text messages, message boards and customer software to contact employees and customers.
• Preparing daily work schedules for technicians
• Check in parts, maintain parts status, and follow up.
• Coordinate tools and materials for jobs.
• Maintain project schedule and status to completion.
• Track and report service status for billing
• Communicate and schedule with customers.
• Keeping and organizing work requests
• Review project technicians’ timecards
• Regular communication with technicians, HVAC Coordinator, Project Supervisor, and Sales team
• Other tasks and projects, as needed.
• Self-Motivator, ability to multi-task and learn quickly.
• Problem solving, leadership and listening skills.
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
• High school diploma; college diploma a plus!
• 2 years customer service experience, or equivalent training and experience; experience in HVAC industry a preferred
