Job Summary: Assist the head coach with instructing players on the philosophy of the team.
Assess player's skills, monitor players during training and practice, and keeps the head Coach informed of the athletic performance of the players.
Cultivate a positive and winning team culture.
Assist in the team activities, trainings & match preparation, player recruitment and support traveling logistics.
Duties & Responsibilities: Developing, training and coaching the Club’s USL first team squad; Assisting the Head Coach with any duties required for the first team, including breaking down opposition scouting and Republic FC video analysis; Coordinating for player development throughout the Club’s entire soccer operations department, including, without limitation, providing guidance, coordination, and collaboration with the General Manager, Head Coach, Academy Director, Academy coaches, all with the objective of building and fostering a cohesive, philosophically aligned, and competitive technical soccer organization; Scouting, recruiting, and providing internal recommendations for terms of engagement of, potential player personnel for the Club, and facilitating the integration into the Club of player personnel engaged by Employer; 5.
Integrating deserving Academy players into the first team and maintaining a semi-regular presence (at least once per month) at Academy training sessions; 6.
Assisting the Head Coach with communicating on a regular basis with Republic FC first team players and with Republic FC academy players to inform each player of their standing in the club; 7.
Assisting the Head Coach with bridging the Republic FC first team and Republic FC academy, so that lines of communication are clear and open; 8.
Leading the Club’s coaches and scouts at any coaching clinics, soccer camps, tryouts, and/or player combines hosted by or on behalf of Employer, including, without limitation, facilitating and assisting with Employer’s player selection process; 9.
Participating on behalf of the Club in public appearances (including, without limitation, in-season pre and post-game visits and other interaction with external media representatives), speaking engagements, coaching clinics and symposiums, and other community outreach efforts of Employer, with the goal of advancing positively the marketing, public relations, and community objectives of Employer; 10.
Connecting with the local soccer community to foster positive and strategic relationships with the elite soccer clubs in the greater Sacramento region.

Visiting the front office on a regular basis and participating in club events, gatherings, and meetings.
Such other duties, activities, and roles related to the coaching or administration of the Club, its playing squads, and/or the Academy as the Employer from time to time may designate in its sole and absolute discretion.

USSF “A” or "B" Coaching License or International equivalent license.

Years of related work experience: 2 Years 6.
Must push, pull and lift 50 pounds 7.
Excellent relationship building and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact comfortably and effectively with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of an organization.
8.
Highly motivated and goal oriented to build a long-term career in the sports business.
9.
Availability to work flexible hours including nights, weekends, and holidays.
10.
Must be able to travel to away matches and attend all home games.
11.
Strong organizational and time-management skills, as well as the ability to balance a variety of tasks.
12.
Proficient in Microsoft suite applications, and session planning software.
13.
Thrives in the locker room environment and positively impacts club culture by being a team player.
