Made with uniquely figured, tight grain solid old growth redwood from the 1800's.
Notches, bolt holes, and character attributes given by time all preserved and featured in the finished piece.
Wood comes from decommissioned redwood water tanks in California.
No color alteration needed, the tones are all natural.
Supporting the table is a sturdy custom-made angled steel leg base.
The wood has been surfaced, joined with Festool dominos, sanded, cleaned, sealed, and finished with a commercial grade protective matte finish.
Everything made by hand here at my shop in town.
