Yes, talking is a cure for many illnesses that we tend to bury inside of us.
Why do therapists charge hundreds of dollars an hour just to listen to you? Because talking and letting go is often the first step on the road to releasing our emotional pain.
In no way do I claim to be a professional shrink, (and I'm not going to charge you) but I figured if I could help a few people out and make them feel better about themselves, then why shouldn't I make that contribution.
I've been on this Earth for quite some time and have raised 2 kids, had an alcoholic wife, been divorced, (and went through a modest amount of therapy myself) and I've always been the type of person that people feel comfortable talking to about personal or intimate issues in their lives.
This type of therapy is convenient because, for one, it's free, another is because you
can remain anonymous and maintain your privacy.
We can do this via email or text, or possibly a phone call when you're comfortable enough to do so.
I probably won't be able to help someone that has been through a lot of traumas and been to therapists already.
We can talk about the sources of stress and the demands that life puts on us.
Whether it be a stale marriage, or the stress of everyday life and what a financial burden it can be, or whatever is troubling you.
Basically, just vent and let it out.
I'm really just giving you an outlet to vent anonymously.
I will likely communicate with just two or three people at a time so that I can maintain my focus.
I'm kind of a people pleaser, so I get my rewards by helping others.
