POSITION SUMMARY
Our kitchen managers are a vital part of our team.
They make sure that every pizza out of our oven meets a “GOOD AS GOLD” standard.
At Old Town Pizza, kitchen managers can be found prepping fresh ingredients, scheduling for a busy week, and of course, making pizza.
We know that our product is one of our key ingredients to success and are looking for talent to lead our operation.
*This is a Full Time/ Part Time position with a pay range of $26.
00 - $32.
00 per hour.
Pay will be determined based on experience.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES The essential functions include, but are not limited to the following:
● Staff the kitchen according to expected output but without excess overhead
● Properly order the correct amount of product to minimize inventory space but maximize efficiency
● Making periodic and regular inspections to observe quality of food preparation and service, food appearance, and cleanliness and sanitation of production and service areas and equipment
● Coordinating all training activities for kitchen and service employees to include the identification and analysis of training needs and the design and implementation of programs to address these deficiencies
● Assisting other managers as requested in areas such as plate presentation, special function menu planning, and the design of new service areas
● Preparing operational reports and analyses setting forth progress, adverse trends and making appropriate recommendations
● Performing other work-related duties as assigned
MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS (KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES)
* A high school diploma or equivalent preferred
* At least 21 years old
* California Food Handlers Card
* Prior experience in related food service positions required
* Ability to work in high-stress environment
* Moderate reading and writing skills; ability to follow written and oral instructions and procedures
* Promotes positive public relations with guests
* Proficient interpersonal relations and communicative skills; cooperates and works together with all co-workers; plan and complete job duties with minimal supervisory direction, including appropriate judgment
* Ability to stand, reach, lift, bend, kneel, stoop, climb, push and pull items weighing 50 pounds or less
* Manual dexterity; auditory and visual skills Compensation and benefits:
