*Job Description and Duties*

Under the general direction of the Information Technology Manager I, The IT Supervisor II plans, organizes and directs the Natural Resources Development Unit.
This position provides highly technical and support staff guidance and direction to staff on system analysis, design, development and implementation activities; formulates creative solutions and identifies services needed.
Identifies priorities and ensures workload is completed timely and effectively; provides leadership and motivation and provides performance feedback.
This position requires an in-depth understanding of IT and the System Development Life Cycle, Project Management and experience running application development teams and business analyst, and a strong desire to manage and develop technical staff.
In order to be eligible for this position, you must either be transfer eligible or take and pass the following exam:

*Working Conditions*
Ability to work at a desk using a computer keyboard several hours a day.
Involves sitting most of the time but may require walking or standing.
This position will be headquartered in the ITSB offices, but the incumbent may be expected to frequently visit other state offices.
Attend meetings; work with staff statewide to complete work assignments.
Occasional travel may be required.
