We are looking for a fun, mature, and skilled Veterinary technician with minimum 3 years’ experience to join our Mercy Pet Hospital team and fill a supervisory position.
This is a full-time, long term basis position.
We are seeking individuals who are competent in anesthesia, surgical prep, patient care, and dentistry.
Overall, you must also possess the following soft skills: motivation to learn, accountable, listening, empathetic, positive attitude, have excellent communication skills, leadership skills, and problem-solving skills and most importantly love this field!
This is a full-time position which will involve 4 (10hr) shifts.

Practice Overview
At Mercy Pet Hospital, our primary focus is small animal health.
We specialize in dogs and cats.

What You’ll Be Working On
* Engaging and communicating with clients
* Primary job functions include animal restraint, blood draws, assembly of surgical suite and instruments, venipuncture, IV catheter placement, and administration of medication
* Monitor patient conditions during treatments, procedures or activities
* Perform laboratory tests to assist in diagnosis and treatment
* Getting and maintaining patient information
* Running anesthesia on a variety of surgical procedures
* Maintaining supply and equipment inventory
* Grow your skills with training, mentorship, and continuing education
Qualifications
* Minimum of 3-years experience working as a veterinary assistant preferred, but other work in the veterinary or animal care field will be considered.
* Highly motivated, with a demonstrated passion for building relationships
* Excellent verbal and written communication skills
* Strong organization, time management, and attention to detail
