Duties and Responsibilities: Outpatient consultations and follow up evaluations of patients with chronic pain Coordination of Care with other healthcare providers, including surgeons, chiropractors, psychologists, and other specialists Pharmacologic management of chronic pain and related conditions Interventional pain management procedures and injections under imaging guidance (fluoroscopy and ultrasound) Mentoring and providing clinical supervision to mid-level providers Building relationships with community physicians and health care providers Developing new patient referrals and community awareness of the services offered at the practice.
Qualifications: At least 1-3 years experience in pain management or related specialties Fresh graduates, and fellows are welcome to apply Board Certified or Board Eligible MD or DO degree Must have a fluoroscopy supervisor license valid in California.
Licensed to practice in California with no restrictions Active DEA license all schedules Proficiency in ultrasound-guided interventional strategies Familiarity with current pain management literature Experience with Buprenorphine-containing medication assisted treatment for opioid dependence Active participation in continued medical education and membership to a professional organization is highly preferred Experience with EHR/EMR is highly preferred Able to work in Sacramento, CA Benefits: Dental Vision Medical 401k Paid Leave Others
