SUMMARY:
ProFarm Group (PFG) is a subsidiary of Bioceres Crop Solutions, a global provider of biologically-derived fertilizers, inoculants, crop traits, adjuvants, biostimulants and pesticides, serving the ever-expanding agricultural markets.
PFG focuses on discovering, developing, and marketing nature-derived biostimulants, as well as pest management products from microbes and plant extracts for the effective control of invertebrate pests, weeds, and plant diseases.
PFG is looking to hire an IT Operations Lead to provide the IT department with the vision, challenges, and business needs to translate them into optimal and efficient technological solutions following the group's guidelines.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
Essential Functions:
Contribute to the implementation of the global IT strategy at ProFarm Group
Identify information technology needs, prioritize them, manage their implementation coordinating with specialist teams and suppliers
Manage the daily operations of the IT department at ProFarm Group coordinating with corporate services.
Position will work closely with our group IT department and 3rd party service organization.
Evaluate and control IT services
Implement and ensure compliance with IT policies and procedures, ensuring compliance with relevant local regulations
Responsible for device inventory
Manage IT budget provided
Manage IT suppliers
Lead IT projects
REQUIREMENTS:
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in IT or related field preferred
Experience:
3+ years’ experience in a similar role preferred
Knowledge in ERP, SAP, Microsoft 365 and ITIL processes preferred
Bilingual in Spanish preferred

Physical Requirements:
Ability to sit at a desk for extended periods
Extensive use of computer, keyboard, mouse, and monitor
Ability to lift at least 20+/- lbs.
Ability to work in a venue such as ProFarm Michigan Manufacturing, hotel, or other organization’s meeting room, conference, or convention space
Ability to work across multiple time zones

Ability to be analytical, proactive, and results-oriented
Ability to have excellent communication and organizational skills to follow up with different stakeholders
Ability to work with frequent interruptions and changes in workload priorities, ability to prioritize tasks, and ability to maintain confidentiality
Ability to work collaboratively on a team, as-well-as, be an independent worker
Ability to learn new software/new information, when necessary, on order to complete job duties thoroughly
Travel:
You will be expected to travel approximately once a quarter to either our Davis, CA office, Bangor, MI office,or Bioceres Headquarters in Argentina.
