Position Overview:
The Registered Nurse role focuses primarily on the clinical direction and coordination of a patient-care team in collaboration with the medical staff to provide a full range of patient services.
The Registered Nurse will function within the full scope of licensure to provide patient care; assess patient and family needs; implementation of the plan of care; review and evaluate the effectiveness.
The Registered Nurse also provides care based on the age-related needs of the pediatric, adolescent, adult, and geriatric patient with consideration of their developmental/psychosocial needs, environmental safety, education needs, communication style and level of understanding.

EDUCATION
Graduate of an accredited school of nursing Required
Bachelor’ degree Preferred
CERTIFICATION & LICENSURE
Registered Nurse - State Licensure - RN Required
Or RN Interim Permittee-R-IP Required
BLS-Basic Life Support Required
EXPERIENCE
Minimum of six (6) months specialty specific acute care experience within the last two (2) years REQUIRED
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE
Must have demonstrated knowledge of basic nursing skills and effective English written and communication skills.
Independently practices and prioritizes multiple demands in an ever-changing environment.
Good interpersonal, communication (both oral and written) and teamwork skills are required.
DEPARTMENT-SPECIFIC SKILLS & KNOWLEDGE
Each employee must successfully complete the Department Specific Requirements:
ACLS within six (6) months of start date and must maintain recognition.
Interpretation of Basic Arrhythmia Test upon hire or within two (2) weeks of completion of the course.
Pediatric Advanced Life Support (PALS) recognition within six (6) months of start date and must maintain recognition.

Pay Range is $66.
85 to $88.
54 / hour
The salary range for this role may vary above or below the posted range as determined by location.
This range has not been adjusted for any specific geographic differential applicable by area where the position may be filled.
Compensation takes into account several factors including but not limited to a candidate’s experience, education, skills, licensure and certifications, department equity, training and organizational needs.
