As a Product Launch Manager in the Compute and Networking Business Unit (CNBU), you will join the CXL Product Management group to define strategies, lead planning activities, and oversee execution for new product qualifications across Micron’s CXL product portfolio! You will prioritize the efforts of a cross-functional team, comprising product engineering, field applications engineering, global quality, account management, product management, segment marketing and operations, to ensure successful product introductions at our customers.
Responsibilities: Technical program manager for developing customer qualification plans (including tasks, achievements, dependencies) and driving execution to the established plans Develop and deliver product strategies and updates related to customer qualifications to sales and marketing organizations Define and refine business processes related to product launch Prioritize cross-functional efforts to resolve system and product solutions for all qual-gating issues, including customer communication strategies and prioritization of issues Manage firmware updates, release notes, and corresponding communications to customers and partners as needed Develop and maintain a view of customer sample needs, qual requirements, test plans, system lists, sample availability, estimated time to qual completion, and issue tracking Drive improvement metrics, including time to customer qual, first pass qual success, and turn-around time for failure analysis – including projects related to internal qual release optimizations, testing and data-sharing capabilities and design-for-debug.
Ensure the creation and dissemination of product collateral to field teams for sharing with customers – including datasheets, tech/app notes, internal test data/reports, and issue updates Establish relevant reporting frameworks and dashboards Serve as primary point of contact for field and marketing teams for product qualifications Coordinate training of field support teams Qualifications: 5+ years of product management, applications engineering, architecture, marketing, or product engineering roles in the semiconductor industry Experience leading executive silicon issue triage, cross-functional teams and customer engagements Solid understanding of standard processes in semiconductor component qualifications/validations Excellent interpersonal process, program management fundamentals, presentation abilities and written communication Education: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering MBA or Master’s degree in engineering management is helpful The US base salary range that Micron Technology estimates it could pay for this full-time position is: $117,000.
